However, those of the 'Mailing' series from the United Kingdom which were immune to RBDV, did not perform well in New Zealand Fry & Wood 1978 ; . Of several immune North American cultivars tried since the 1970s, 'Fairview' produced long laterals which were difficult to manage, and 'Willamette' suffered from poor budbreak. Some success was achieved with 'Heritage' as an autumn fruiting cultivar Woodet al. 1991 ; . Method: 1. Poach prawns: In a medium pot, simmer 2 litres of water. When water is simmering, add 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 or 3 slices of lemon and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Add shelled and deveined prawns into pot. Once the water comes back to a simmer, time for 60 seconds. Immediately remove prawns from water and put into a bowl of ice water to stop cooking action. Prawns should be pink. Let cool in water for 5 minutes. Dice shrimp into large pieces. 2. Peel jicama and slice into matchsticks. 3. In large mixing bowl, put creamed raspberry honey in with 1 tablespoon of hot water; mix until runny. Add the juice from the mandarin oranges that have been segmented, the black pepper raspberry dressing and whisk mixture til thoroughly blended. Add salt and pepper to taste. 4. Clean endive by cutting end and placing in large bowl of cold water. Separate the leaves and pat dry with some paper towel. 5. In the bowl of dressing, add the prawns and jicama and toss to coat. Add the mandarin segments and mix gently. Fill the endive spears with the mixture and serve. Enjoy and rebif.

Studies of non-equilibrium amphiphilic systems are usually focused on selfassembly, mechanical, electrical and optical response, and thermotropic, lyotropic, shearinduced or reactioninduced ructural transitions. Modelling the non-equilibrium behaviour of amphiphilic assemblies via analytical or continuum methods lacks the intrinsically particulate nature of these assemblies' building blocks. This is a crucial drawback since much of the relevant information comes from the mesoscale 10 nm 10 where in many cases matter cannot be approximated by continuum flelds. On the other hand, simulating these systems with fully atomistic methods up to the time scales relevant to phenomena of interest 10 ns 1 still requires a prohibitively high computational expense. This paper reports on the work I carried out in collaboration with host scientist Dr. Jens Harting [3] Institute for Computational Physics, University of Stuttgart [4] ; during a HPC-Europa-funded stay in the period 25.Nov-19 c 2004. This work is part of an ongoing project of mine aimed at developing lattice-Boltzmann LB ; methods for complex fluids, namely, interacting amphiphilic-colloidal fluids. The lattice-Boltzmann dynamics is obtained by solving a set of coupled approximated Boltzmann transport equations on a spatial lattice in discrete time steps with a discrete set of microscopic velocities; this leads to the Navier-Stokes equations of hydrodynamics for simple fluids [5]. The scheme is an efficient flow solver in the mesoscale, and has proved and is proving useful for modelling multi-phase and amphiphilic fluid flow see Refs. [6-8] and references therein ; . In particular, part of my previous work used as starting point for my project at the University of Stuttgart succeeded in self-assembling gyroid liquidcrystalline mesophases out of random, homogeneous mixtures of two immiscible fluids plus a surfactant species [7]. The structure of this mesophase can be seen in Fig. 1 and reserpine.
